New Dad

This started out as a Dad's perspective on my wife Katrina's pregnancy and a way to keep the family updated. Alina arrived in February 2006 and now it's more about our parenting adventures. Now we've added Evelyn in July 2008.

The Flutter

Katrina is starting to feel movement now. So, of course, we're experimenting. When I start talking up close, the baby moves. We put headphones on her tummy and put on everything from Renaissance Choral music to Jimi Hendrix. However, it's hard to say if the movement is the baby saying "oooh, what's that?" or "bah, where's the off switch!"

What you NEED to do is hook the headphones up to the TV and put in The Simpsons. The kid's first word will be "D'oh!" ... just like his daddy.

I betcha Katrina has indigestion.
Fluttering this early?? Usually you don't feel that until mid fourth month. Wow some little football player. Maybe it's a boy after all. Or a girl who is will be a great soccer player. Ethan was a very active little baby; more so than the others. Onward and upward.
